This document describes a management information base for the IS-IS Routing protocol, as described in ISO 10589, when it is used to construct routing tables for IP networks, as described in RFC 1195. This document defines an experimental portion of the Management Information Base (MIB) for use with network management protocols in the Internet community. This document is based on a 1994 IETF draft by Chris Gunner. This version has been modified to include MIB-II syntax, to exclude portions of the protocol that are not relevant to IP, and to add management support for current practice.
