The Coupling Flag CF is set to either 0 or 1. The choice of the value for CF has the effect of controlling the volume of the yellow Service Frames admitted to the network. When CF is set to 0, the long term average bit RateProfile of bytes in yellow service frames admitted to the network is bounded by EIR which is equal to PIR-CIR. When CF is set to 1, the long term average bit RateProfile of bytes in yellow Service Frames admitted to the network is bounded by PIR depending on volume of the offered green Service Frames. In both cases the burst size of the yellow Service Frames admitted to the network is bounded which is equal to PIR-CIR. Options: 1. disable(0) 2. enable(1) Default: enable(1)
