Enter the id for the remote LAN associated with this MAC address. 1) A rMACHomePort with a value of 0 means that the MAC address resides on the local LAN. 2) A rMACHomePort with a value from 1 to 1000 will map to the rRemLANID attribute of 1 to 1000. This attribute cannot be SET alone. A GEN_ERROR will be returned. If you want to change the home port on which the MAC resides, you have to delete by setting rMACType to INVALID and then recreate the entry by having all the attributes in the same SET-REQUEST packet with valid values. NOTE: If you want to create a new MAC entry, you have to make sure that the rMACHomePort attribute that you use has already been created and is, therefore, known by the system.
