Identifies the port notation and delimiter format used by ifName. It is used to disambiguate port specifications having a single delimiter. That is, to determine whether a slot number is included in a port specification or not. By default, a standalone setup does not specify a slot number, but port notation can be configured to include a slot number. If the notation is portColonChannel(1), no slot number is included and port specifications will be formatted as 'port:channel' or 'port'. For stacking or VPEX, a slot number is included and notation will be slotColonPortColonChannel(2) meaning that ports are formatted as 'slot:port:channel' or 'slot:port'. The values of portSlotChannel(3) and slotSlashPortSlashChannel(4) are not used currently but are reserved for future use. Note that a channel number will only (and always) be specified for channelized ports, regardless of port notation.
