This object's value contains one octet for each type of SNMP-standard generic trap. If the agent is enabled to send a particular type of trap to this entry's destination, the corresponding octet contains a non-zero value; otherwise, if the corresponding octet has a zero value, the agent is disabled from sending that type of trap to this entry's destination. Writing to an instance of this object-type which does not currently exist is an error. The octets for specific traps are positioned in the OCTET STRING, according to their values in the 'generic-trap' field of an SNMP trap message: octet generic-trap field 1st coldStart(0) 2nd warmStart(1) 3rd linkDown(2) etc.
